For over thirty years I owned my own successful small business, an audiology practice in Grand Rapids, Michigan. So I know what it's like to try to balance all the different roles and jobs involved in running a small business. I also know the challenges and the thrills of being your own boss, and I am excited to help people on the journey. My strongest areas are understanding the financial and operational aspects of starting and running a business. In addition, my clinical work as an audiologist helped me learn the skills of listening, analyzing, and teaching. All three are critical to being an effective mentor.
