Business Background: In Retail, I leased small electrics and personal care items in department stores for 15 years. I began with one store and finished with seventeen. It was a very successful operation, and an opportunity to learn advertising, purchasing, and marketing in a highly competitive field. In distribution, our organization distributed specialized retail products to big box stores like Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart etc. We specialized in just in time replenishment, high volume, direct to store shipments. We shipped approx. 20,000 packages per month. The business was sold to a public company.
